This body of work is inspired in the Sexual System of Classification of Plants invented by Karl Linnaeus, the father of Taxonomy, in which he uses the number of Pistils (wifes) and Stamens (husbands) to classify plants. Monoandria = One husband in the bridal bed. Diandria = Three husbands in the bridal bed. Triandria, and so on. Polyandria is more than 20 husbands in the same bridal bed.
