Paving Roads for Latin American Art

 

Thrilled to be part of the exhibition “Paving Roads for Latin American Art: The Pioneering Work of Celia Birbragher,” at the Coral Gables Museum, curated by Francine Birbragher-Rozencwaig, Ph.D. and Yuneikys (Yuni) Villalonga.

The exhibition is an homage to Celia Birbragher’s commitment for 47 years to Latin American Art.  It presents 90 artists from Latin America who have been on the cover of ArtNexus and whose works are in collections in Miami or from artists whose work has been developed in Miami, Florida, and have had an article published.  

A catalog will be published with the artworks exhibited and texts by Cecilia Fajardo Hill, Gerardo Mosquera, Elvis Fuentes, Yuneikys (Yuni) Villalonga, and an interview by Francine Birbragher-Rozencwaig, Ph.D.

The exhibition will be on view from November 30, 2023, to April 14, 2024.
